Our Mission
We seek to apply real-world biological processes - such as evolution and ecology - to gaming experiences through creative use of programming, artwork, writing, and design.
We intend to match unique environments with equally riveting narrative experiences, enticing players to think deeply about the worlds we envision and create, while equipping them with a greater appreciation for the natural phenomena of the real world.
Some of the biological phenomena in our games will include:
Evolution
Mutation, competition, and inheritance - agents that change and adapt to your decisions and behavior
Ecology
Active, responsive agents that depend on each other, and, when disrupted, cause a cascade of emergent effects in the system
Symbiosis
Individual agents that exchange resources with each other - whether given freely or taken with force or coersion
Our Games
Ex Vitro
A dark, sci-fi Metroidvania about the dangers of xenophobia and the tragedy of extinction.
Mycocosm
An arcade-style plant management game where fungi are fast friends and bacteria will cheat you of your nutrients.
